Round shaped roll wrapped carbon fiber tube

Our Roll wrapped carbon fiber tubes are manufactured by wrapping multiple layers of 12k UD and 3k twill/plain carbon fiber prepregs around a metal mould and then cured at high temperature. The UD prepregs are used in core layers whereas the Twill/Plain is on the surface. Based on your requirement, we can also use Kevlar and glass fiber.

We specialise in the production of large sized tubes.

Maximum diameter size: 700mm ; Maximum Length possible at this diameter: 24000mm

For tubes less than/up to 200mm diameter, the length can be made up to 5000mm long.

These are dimensions of the moulds (not tubes). For e.g a mould of ID 210mm can be used to make any tube with ID 210mm ; Client is free to choose it OD, depending on one’s need.

OD is equal to 2 X thickness + ID
